Harlem Electronics is a Stockholm-based electronic duo formed by Johan Skugge and Martin Thomasson in the early 2000s. Their music moves between electro, EBM, techno, new beat and dub, while drawing influence from post-punk, grime, hip-hop and musique concrète. After a long hiatus, the project became active again in the late 2010s. Over more than two decades, Harlem Electronics have developed a distinct approach to electronic music built around hard rhythmic structures, minimal electronics, vocals, and a constant movement between club music and more experimental forms.
